I’m Leticia Odenwald, the heart behind Mother Odie.
Motherhood changed me in ways I never expected. It cracked me open, softened me, and asked me to grow in the most uncomfortable and beautiful directions. Somewhere between the exhaustion, the joy, the doubt, and the deep love, I realized I needed a space where honesty could exist where motherhood didn’t have to be filtered, perfected, or explained away. Mother Odie was born from that need.
As a mother, I’m constantly learning through the ups and downs, the quiet moments, and the overwhelming ones. I created this space to connect with other moms who are also finding their way, to share my story as it unfolds, and to honor the complexity of motherhood in all its forms.
My journey is also shaped by immigration. I’m from Brazil, building a life in a new country, learning a new language, and raising a bilingual child while carrying the ache of distance from my family. Motherhood, in this context, holds both gratitude and grief deep love mixed with longing, strength paired with vulnerability.
Here, we make room for all of it. Mother Odie is a space for real mothers. For reflection. For growth. For connection. For the days we feel grounded and the days we feel lost. No perfection only presence, compassion, and love.If you’re here, I hope you feel seen. I hope you feel less alone. And I hope this space reminds you that your story just as it is matters.
